Fishers is very competitive with regards to fees. The Notaries Society has given guidance on fees to ensure that notarial work is carried out to a proper standard. Fishers charges in accordance with guidance given by The Notaries Society.
The fee for a document is up to £100+VAT. For more complex transactions, Fishers charges a rate of £450+VAT per hour.
Often notarial documents need to be legalised, usually by being sent to The Foreign & Commonwealth Office, but sometimes also to various embassies in London as well. Fishers can arrange this for a client as there are specialist couriers who undertake this work.
The Foreign & Commonwealth Office and various embassies charge a small fee for legalising a document. Such institutions will often only accept notaries' cheques, not cheques issued by individuals. Fishers will issue a notary cheque to cover this fee on behalf of clients.
Fishers can also arrange the courier for your documents for a small extra charge plus the courier company’s costs.
Please note:
If a client instructs Fishers either to post or to courier documents, they do so entirely at their own risk and Fishers will not be responsible for the documents in any way after they have left its offices
